BlueBay Knights 0 - 1 Virtual FC

We lost again. After my 3 week hiatus i was rip and roaring to get my game back on track. Alas, it was not to be as i hit the crossbar twice in the first half from long shots and we struggled to make our possesion count. It's so cliche but we lacked the final pass. We had a really good game in the first half and created more than our fair share of chances. At HT, i was glad i came back for the match and was confident of my chances upfront. Second half was ok, only the wingers took so bloody long to deliver the cross in to the waiting strikers. They twisted, turned and feigned so much that they tripped themselves up or got dizzy and lost all direction. The few times they were in the clear they passed straight to the grass mound behind the goal. Once again i was deprived of much-needed service; and the display although much improved still left much to be desired. I am still one step from retiring from Blue Bay.

The bitter aftertaste of losing has become a post match normality with Blue Bay. We MUST start winning.
