Reluctant acceptance

Life in the last few days involved a lot of reluctant acceptance on my part.. On Sunday we had the annual Mundialito 7 a side soccer tournament.. We were the defending champs and of course, we started the tournament brightly winning 3-0 and 5-0 in the first 2 matches.. Truly, we were on our way to the next round.. In the next match we played 17/18 yr olds in the form of team JJC2.. This match followed a rest period of roughly 1.5 hrs... after playing 2 early matches in succesion, this long rest proved to be disastrous.. we played team JJ with heavy feet and lethargy sank into our play.. We seemed to be headed for a draw in a very level match.. Then came the controversy, i'm not one to protest against refereeing decisions but now i know how Italy must have felt after being defeated by South Korea on WC2002 (actually come to think of it, they whine all the time).. The ref swept the carpet from under our feet by letting a controversial goal stand.. the ball seemed to cross the line and he blew his whistle, team JJ pretended not to have heard it and proceeded to roll the ball into an unguarded the net...to our astonishment, the ref blew for a goal! WTF! that loss brought us smashing down to earth and for the first time we were speechless after the match.. if we had played with heavy feet in that match, we played with heavy hearts in the last match and subsequently lost 2-0 to a v skillful Mat team.. We went out of the tournament, having scored 8 goals and let in 3. mind u, we had the best Goal diff in the whole tourney...

My hair.
I like my hair, i think it's what i've always wanted to try.. sth wild and out of the box.. But my mom hates it. And i'm not gonna get any allowance till it's kiwi black once again.. I'm screwed.. And the thing is, deep down, i miss havin black hair.. I'm not gonna dye it back! But i need Money. Sigh sigh.. trivial matters, why art thou so complicated?

Portugal.
I see no reason for them to hang their heads in shame. They played their best. I am proud of this team. And the Greeks fully deserve to win. Thanks Sha and Ida for the SMSs. I'm fine, i accept the score although it is with great reluctance..

In school now, first day.. Wee! Goin for my lunch now.. My com's down (again!!) at home so its gonna be skool lib for my updates..
