One of the best print to screens ever.
Superb cinematography, superb direction, star studded cast.. Elijah Wood (not Tobey Maguire as i originally wrote) was excellent as a demented silent "eater of (prostitute's) souls" who didnt even flinch when his own dog ate him and he had his head lopped off. ouch. Devon Aoki was, for once, good in her role as the samurai-sword-wielding, swastika-throwing, cold-hearted assasin. She didnt have many lines (or was that zero lines in total?) and this made watchin her acting worthwhile. Hmmm i hope i haven given anything away. U guys shd watch it.. pure unadulterated violence (plus some T&A along the way).. but too bad Jessica Alba doesnt lose her clothes.
Finally spoke to an online friend yesterday. It's funny how the voice u hear on the phone, the face u see in the pics and the words u read on the blog never seems to match. All in all, she seems nice.. and funny (i like funny girls, all the girls i hang out with are funny).. Well the conversation was about a bridal modelling competition and she was interested in joining so i got the details from Khal.. I hope she joins.. and wins! so that she can dedicate half of her winnings to me and i can take Khal on a cruise to nowhere.. Haha. right. But i do hope she joins cos i sincerely think she has a good chance of clinching it (regardless of the competition).... Although if she joins just to check out the hot guys, then i don't know what to say. :p
I finally know why i can't say those words to her.. i re-read my june 10 entry and realise i had so much animosity towards myself.. But it's just a matter of time. I'm starting to like myself and the things i do.. for her.. and for me.
i must accept who i am before i can accept her...
