It's been more or less 2 weeks since my last post and many many things have happened in between. (In school now, in between appointments so this post may seem a bit rushed.)
First of all, there's the matter of 2004 forever leaving us and 2005 coming in to stay for 365 days. NYE was not happening in the conventional sense but at least i managed to spend it with my buddies.
School has restarted and shite have been steadily piling in, slowly but surely. I can't even begin to think about DPP 1(Developing Professional Practice) and the immense workload.. Investment looks scary but i seek solace in the fact that finance seemed that way too last sem before we started covering the 'tough' topics and realised that it wasn't that bad. We're currently doing council recruitment and to be at the other end of the table in an interview is a refreshing change indeed. There are so many things one can learn just from observation alone. And whoever said that being in council never pays? Experience like this is priceless.
I had originally planned to list down my resolutions for 2005 but i realise that the best place to have them would be in my head. And so far, i am actively following these resolutions so wish me luck. May i have more conviction and self determination (not to mention discipline).
Last but not least, Sorry to everyone i havent been spending time with.. I have not forgotten u guys, i WILL meet up with u soon.
It's a new year, have a new haircut, a new semester.. a new breath of life...
A little prayer for all the victims of the Tsunami tragedy.. to those taken before their time, He works in mysterious ways, may u be in a better place than u were before.. Amin.
