Today a little voice in my head told me i was gonna meet Maz. I thought nothing of it, after all it came from nowhere. Besides, it was a tiny itsy bitsy voice and barely heard in the din of the passing day.

I met Maz at Far East in the evening.

She looked good, all dressed up with the right amount of make up.. I called her after i passed her by just to make sure it was her. She had the freshest voice, she teased, not too much but just as old friends would, she made eye contact, not too much to constitute flirting but just enough to show she was sincerely and pleasantly surprised to see me. I don't know her now but i'd like to think i did a long time ago. She was actually one level above, we chatted on the phone while looking at each other. It's not what u think. Anyway later, she smsed me that it was nice chattin with me, she said i still looked cute.. ok to cut the long story short, i ended up askin her out although i hoped it didn't show that i was desperate or anything.. She didn't reply.

this was the message:
ok same here, hey maybe we can catch up over coffee one of these days after my exams or sth...anyway see ya, have fun

Sigh. It was an offer plain and simple. The fact she didn't reply meant that:
1. She was single but i scared her off with my blatant not-shy attempt at tryin to ask her out.
2. She's attached and i ventured where i shouldn't.
Hell, it was just a simple question, obviously she didn't know or want to answer it. I'd just wanna catch up. Fairuz (NTU Staircase Guy) was right, most Malay girls would think u had an ulterior motive if u asked them out. Sigh. Another one bites the dust. Women hate me. Or they just wanna be platonic friends with me.

Well, since it was an offer, she can still reply within a reasonable of time before it lapses or i choose to revoke the offer. (U Guessed it, i did com law again today).

I can't say i liked her; only i definitely liked what i saw. Sigh. That seems to be word of the day.

So let's hear it again.

Sigh.
