jus woke up not too long ago.. Had a dream involving so many ppl i noe.. I remember Karine, Shu Ting, Sunshine, Amin's sis and mom, my mom.. It was a weird dream..but it made sense to me.. My dreams usually involve my surface thoughts.. whenever i have brief thoughts on sth, i'd dream abt it and my subconscious does all e dirty work, it would link all the separate distinct and unrelated thoughts and a dream would appear (although at times somewhat incoherent).. one thing good (or bad?) about my dreams is how fresh it stays in my mind.. the vividness.. i just need to close my eyes and i would be able to be in certain parts again.. it was as if the dream itself was sth i experienced in reality... Freaky but I'm used to it i guess.. for me, my dreams are induced from my waking hrs.. i dun deduce meaning from my dreams and let them affect my daily life..
Didn't party last night, watched a 2.15 show (butterfly effect) with Gopi at Cine.. Amin watched Honey in the next theatre with Zaid and Min... I did a lil bit of research on chaos theory a few mths back so i was familiar with the concept behind the show.. A flutter of a butterfly's wings can result in a tornado halfway round the world.. A seemingly small, insignificant action can have major disastrous consquences.. In the show, Ashton Kutcher plays Evan, a guy who suffers from memory blackouts (hereditary) at certain strategic points in his childhood, the psychiatrist prescribes daily entries in his journal.. After a particularly troubling incident, his mom decides to leave town.. Evan has to leave his friends behind including his childhood sweetheart.. When he reaches college, he unknowingly starts reading up his journals and he is brought back to his past to the exact point of entry aka blackout point.. He realises that he is able to alter the past for a better future.. Problem is, everytime he goes back to change sth, the consequences are not what he imagined and things turn out worse than before.. Its quite interesting cos the memory blackouts seem to be like save game options, where u can return to and alter whatever goes on next.. The flow of the show was smooth and important events were clearly defined so understanding was even extended to the Ah Bengs in front of me, Butterfly Effect managed to convey sadness, desperation, sudden realisation, joy, confusion.. I give it 4 stars.. Hahaha I've always wanted to do that..
Anyway, I'm hungry and smelly and i need food and a shower.
